Museum as a Verb
Waiting for equipment and funding for programming.
Museuming offers unique ways of generating culture, challenging the notion of traditional brick and mortar institutions. It sees museum as a verb and reflects the ever-changing cultural movement of the past, present and future. It aims to shift and decentralize centers of cultural power and influence, through tools that re-orientate and reverse the system of institutional control of our cultural building processes. Museuming consists of a design framework in the form of six different mixed reality (MR) toolkits. These design interventions are scalable and adaptable within existing spatial environments through Augmented Reality, Virtual Reality and Mixed Reality.
